lindo and i printed up some shirts to give away on sunday. let me just say it was not an easy task. it probably would've been a little easier had i burned a test screen in the first place, but what the hell do i know? it was our first time screen printing and we didn't know what we were doing. we finally figured it out though, just in time too. i was about to shank a fool.

i got an email today from dennis at hell yes clothing. he is going to send some merch for this weekend's event. sweet! bummer that we couldn't add him to the flyer as they are already printed. i couldn't find a logo for hell yes, so here is a picture of palmer.

thanks to planet bike for sending us these lights to build a system that we can still run sprints, but don't have to use a projector. those things aren't cheap! i am going to get these to don, the evil genius, tonight and he can start building. feck yeah!

my friend from SRAM (and fellow Broke Bike Saint), nate, sent these prizes for sprints. i am not included. what is that face i am making? what is that? blue steel? better question, what am i looking at? there is nothing over there except the broom closet. hold onto to your panniers, sunday september 13th is "backyard blam's sunday jam". it will cosist of roller racing, quick stop, pumptrack TT, and for the more advanced group, pump track P-I-G. this wouldn't have happened without the help of my good friend "other" kyle lofstedt. ladies, he's pretty much THE MAN. here he is showin us how it's done. it's going to be a good one. don't miss it.

right off the bat one of the bikes fork was ripped out of the mount by a large drunk man ( you know who you are...doug). we were able to get a few sprints out of it until total failure. it was still fucking fun. thanks to bike jerks, urban velo, rapha, sram, 21st ave bikes, and fat tire farm for the goods. people were stoked to get 'em. thanks ben, michael, al, josh, atlin, kyle and other kyle. you are boss. next month we are going to test out a projectorless system. there will be no entry fee to make up for those who didn't get to race.
