Sweet treat

Today we had all kinds of visitors! I didn't get to hang out with these jokers as I was busy making bicycle dreams come true.
Jeremy Dunn and Dan Sharp showing us how a man's can should really look.
Jeremy's package photobomb, Slate Olsen, Cindy Lewellen, the back of Andrew Reed, and Ryan Trebon.

....so you say the killer was eating a cookie?

My boy, Nate Newton, from SRAM was in town from Chicago today and paid me a little visit. He told me about how my friend George is slacking on organizing gang rides. That's right George, I know!

Do what he says

I love this song. If you're mom is in the room, don't play this... unless she is gangsta.

More tattoos

Here at 21st Ave Bicycles our shop motto is "Make it Awesome". Sean and I took it to the next level.
Mine
Sean's
Matty wanted to take it to the next level too, but not the same level as us.

A summary of the night.

Crumpler

Crumpler hooked it up!! Less than one month until the next BLAM. I am excited. You're excited. Crumpler is excited.

Yesterday

It was my day off yesterday and when you have no where to go, it's interesting where the day will take you.
My helmet on Alice's head.
Mitch
I went in to Moment of Truth Tattoo where my friend and fellow teammate, Jake Tong, drew a great viking for my leg.

Jake tattooed all over my leg. Ladies, he's got a soft touch.

Uffda, it came out great considering I was so squirmy and twitchy.
....and then Sean cooked me dinner. The End.

something for everyone!

Sun Ringle is a sponsor for the next BLAM and I got their package in the mail the other day. The more prizes come in the more stoked out of my mind I get. This is going to be epic, ya'll. Epic.

Deep into the darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing, Doubting, dreaming dreams
no mortals ever dared to dream before; But the silence was unbroken, and the stillness gave no token.
- Edgar Allen Poe

Our August show features twenty gelatin silver photographs by Santa Barbara artist, Gail Pine.
Borrowing their titles from the poetry of Poe & their mercurial, reductive substance from the missing
stories of lost snapshots, her pieces compel us to peer into the darkness of their surface & ponder
several questions. Just what type of image is this? Is it antique or contemporary? What do the
ghostly figures & luminescent landscapes have to tell us about daily fears & nightly dreams? "While
I initially started with death lying thick within my brain," Pine notes, "after working on The Black
Pictures the better part of a year, I came to realize that I was actually rebirthing these lost snapshots,
creating new allegories, a kind of schism of sorts. Incestuous by their very nature, and reborn in the
complete blackness of a darkroom, these snapshots have given birth to new, opposite variations of
themselves."
