Rapha stuff
I was checking out some of the Rapha Continental videos and came across this gem featuring our buds, Jeremy, Slate, and 21st's very own Pete Rubi. Yeah, that's right... I get to work with him. You don't, which sucks for you because Pete is seriously the nicest guy I have EVER met. I am not just saying that. He doesn't have a mean thing to say about anyone. He's a rare gem. Lucky us.
Brazilian Dreams
Once upon a time Matt Case brought in a bike owned by a beautiful Brazilian woman, whom I am quite smitten with, requesting I give it a good once over. This woman... oh, we'll call her Carol, is so pleasing to my eyes that I was more than happy to dial in her bike for her. I replaced the cables, housing, and put some love into the bike. Originally, it had red cork bartape with red finishing tape which kind of made her Brazilian Thomson seatpost stick out like a sore thumb. She decided to be pro and go with some white Deda bartape (which wraps like a dream) and I decided to do her a solid and "lock it up" with the colors of her homeland. We were both pleased.
Matt Case.
If this won't make her fall in love with me, I don't know what will.

I almost forgot....

Regeneration
Well, I am back. What a party! I danced so much that when I tried to go to sleep I couldn't because of restless legs. That means I partied proper. Becca and I set the world on fire.
Elaina, letting her hands do a lot of the talking.
We tried to get this girl's butt in the picture on purpose.
Becca and I both have Norwegian fanny packs. No big deal.
Mitch and I jamming out to the jazz station on James' wind up radio he lent me.
Aaron and his lady.
Ben with his witch's brew.
Camp Angina.
Mitch the Bear
I found hanging my butt off a log and peeing works very nicely. The banana was there for moral support.

Gone Dancin'
I am headed to a dance music festival after work today and I won't have access to a computer. Here are a couple of cds I have listened to a hundred times. Jam on it.

Customer Solutions vol. 8: Filed Frame
This customer couldn't get his front wheel to sit in the fork ends so instead of taking it to his local bike shop to see what the problem was, he just went ahead and filed the fork. Such a bummer. What would have cost him maybe $5 now cost him a new fork plus labor..... which is much more than $5. Learn from this mistake. If you have NO CLUE what the hell you are doing, ask someone who does before you do something like this.

Tools: Bearing puller
This is the first time in over four years of bike repair that I've had to use this tool. Usually there is a lip on the inside of the axle and you can just hit it with a hammer, punch, and tap the cartridges right through or you can use a punch and hit the edge of the bearing, but these Suntour XC Pro had no lip, what so ever, to put a tool on. Atlin told me we had a bearing puller and to pound it with a tool that tapers and I went to work.

One for the books
This weekend I spent the days with the Bassets watching my lady and her team dominate their way to second in the dragon boats races and then I spent the nights dancing until the sun came up with Becca...and then I got up and did the same thing the next day. I got a tan. I dressed like a sailor. It was amazing. Sorry, I didn't write, but it was totally worth it. Please don't be mad at me. I'll try harder next time and this doesn't mean I don't love you... which I do. I mean, what's not to love? You are beautiful.. here, I got you something...

My job is cooler than yours...
.... sorry. It's true.
Matt Case came in and brought us new hats. Why my pants are making my ass look like that, I don't know. Trust me, it usually looks AMAZING.
An early woman's specific bike. Kind of looks like a Stayer.
I could have filed this under C for Customer Solutions, but I didn't think it was extreme enough.
Sean and I played a hilarious joke on Kyle. Here is Sean working on it.
Tilly's heart rates.
SRAM stuff.
