Tools

This is a bottom bracket socket holder tool and it's one of my favorites. I feel like I say that a lot, but I really mean it this time. Honest. Sometimes the bottom bracket just won't come out with the socket wrench and you have put a little more torque on it. That's where this tool comes in.

You remove the socket from the wrench and place it on the bottom bracket and then screw the tool into the spindle of the bottom bracket. Tighten the piece on the threaded part up against the spindle, get a huge crescent wrench and maybe a breaker bar, and torque away until the cows come home.

That socket isn't going anywhere. Simple and effective....sweet tool.

  1. Nice, I never know there was a legit tool for that. I always had to construct something out of a bolt and washers.
