One for the road

You might be sick of me telling you how much I love my
a) friends
b) job
c) Portland
d) all of the above.

What I love about how much it rains here is a couple of things. 1. Everything here is green all year round. It is so lush and looks like Endor in Return of the Jedi. 2. When the sun comes out EVERYONE is in a great mood. I mean, Portland is a super friendly city to begin with, but you give a large number of vitamin D deficient people a little sun and HOT DAMN, it's a party. I am from Fargo, ND and moved here from Chicago, so I know what it is to have a shitty winter. I'm not complaining about the rain or the luxury of being able to ride all 12 months of the year, but I gotta say, 30 straight days of rain will get to you. I guess it makes me appreciate the sun more than I did when I lived in Denver or San Diego, because there it's out all the time.

KV, Sean, and I celebrated with Jack on the Broadway Bridge.

Mr. Light, on the look out.

After work today I found Sean had made me a custom sticker for my bike and Kyle snuck a tube of hemorrhoid cream into my bag. Thanks guys.

  1. What kind of bikes do really cool bike shop bloggers ride? Do the bikes have to be green? Alright the first question, I really want to know. The second question, not so much.

  2. The bike I was riding in this picture is one of the bikes Globe gave us to race on, the Daily 1. Sean has the same one. It's our rain bike. Green is my favorite color.
